Positive Transformational Change involves the effort required to reach commendable objectives.

Have you ever asked yourself, "Why do I do that," or thought, "I'm so unhappy and I don't deserve this," or even told yourself, "I'm not worthy"? Please don't keep criticizing yourself or questioning life's situations negatively, because there is hope. Making poor choices is a common occurrence, and many people, including myself, have done it.

At 64 years old, I find myself wondering where all the time has gone. Much of it was spent undergoing transformation. I feel that I've gained wisdom and exercise more caution when making life-impacting decisions. Indeed, I've made numerous poor choices, but I've also made many excellent ones. Truthfully, I wouldn't alter anything about my past. If I did, perhaps I wouldn't be here writing this blog about transformation.

Mistakes are integral to my journey. They have become part of my story and purpose. Many times, I felt like "throwing in the towel" and giving up. I reached a point where I told myself, that's just who I am, and I'm okay with it. Have you ever felt that way or expressed it to yourself or others before?

I've discovered that wisdom comes with age, provided I allow it. The truth is, if I don't make changes, everything will remain the same. Transformational Change is a process that requires effort and practice, and it's a journey. It has taken me a lifetime to reach this point. So, why would I expect everything to change overnight? Consistency, determination, dedication, and visualization are essential to bring about change. One important lesson I've learned is not to give up on myself. God loves me even when I didn't love myself. I thought, if He can do that, why can't I do it to honor Him?

God, NLP, and My Belief System

Evolved NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) has been essential in helping me overcome obstacles and surpass barriers that once prevented me from reaching my dreams and goals. Interestingly, the beliefs and morals I hold now have been forming over many years. I understand that God controls the timing, not me. Everything I learned was God preparing me for today. Patience is the belief I've embraced. I discovered that the more I learn, the less I truly knew. That's where time, age, wisdom, and discernment play a role.

I've always thought of myself as successful in both business and my personal life. In certain aspects, I was correct, but mostly, my beliefs, morals, and the agreements I had made were misguided. Looking back, I had to reflect on myself and ask: Who am I, and what is my perspective? Did I truly believe in and love myself? I'm a nice guy, you know. I'm generally considerate and compassionate, and I tried my best to "fix" bad situations. I could, right? People would see and understand my viewpoint. I would tell them everything is fine, and I'd overlook their character flaws. I was mistaken.

What is the common saying about nice guys? That they finish last, correct? I discovered that this isn't necessarily true. It was my perspective, influenced by old subconscious beliefs, that led me to think so. I believed I had an open perspective and found myself leaning slightly towards the center-right, embracing some liberal ideas. I agreed with certain viewpoints that staunch conservatives would never accept. I saw myself as a professional businessperson enjoying a comfortable, middle-class lifestyle. I was okay, and you are too.

Locating a Mentor

I believe everything begins with a thought. By applying critical thinking creatively and then acting on it, I make things happen. I adhere to the principle "Action, not just Words".

I've been fortunate to have several mentors in my life who have inspired me. Finding someone you can trust to provide sound advice is not an easy task. While there are many excellent Inspirational/Motivational Leaders and Influencers to choose from, I've found that the best, like Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, and Jim Rohn, have passed on, yet their inspiration and wisdom remain timeless and relevant today. People such as Tony Robbins, Daymon John, Jack Canfield, and John Maxwell are costly options but are extremely insightful leaders. You can reach out to individuals like Evan Carmichael, Guy Brilando, Niurka, and Joshua T. Berglan to help you learn how to create a successful business, change your thinking, and become a valuable asset in your toolkit. Evan, an introvert, influencer, and living legend, was my first choice. We became close friends. I watch his videos and receive advice from top influencers like Elon Musk and many others. I learned, I grew, and I still apply their concepts today. It's the old saying: where there's a will, there's a way.

Through social media platforms, I have connected with many individuals with whom I share common interests, and I have learned a great deal from them. Three people who have significantly influenced my life are Guy Brilando, a retired Navy and Commercial Airline pilot, Niurka, a Creative Event and Experience Coach who studied under Tony Robbins, and Joshua T Berglan, the Founder of the Worlds Mayor Experience, MANA, and the author of a book on the 4th Industrial Revolution, Media Company in a Box. Both Guy and Niurka are Evolved NLP Masters. They have taught me that my behaviors are rooted in my subconscious and that I can reframe my picture, release negative thoughts, discard unwanted thinking patterns, and find daily Joy, Happiness, and Gratitude. I aspire to create a legacy that my family, friends, children, and grandchildren will be proud of and eager to share with others.

Steps I Take for Daily Transformation:

1) Empowerment - for myself and others

2) Gratitude - for everything, regardless of the result

3) Love - for myself and others

4) Release - letting go of bad habits and the belief of not being worthy

5) Health and Wellness - focus on diet, exercise, and meditation

6) Visualization - imagining myself or ideas as already realized and how that appears

7) Consistency - performing these tasks daily

8) Determination - I Am and I Will

9) Dedication - staying true to my goals

10) Affirmation - incorporating meditation, intention, and having specific outcomes

Keep in mind that regardless of how bad you believe things are, there's always someone experiencing worse. You are special and unique, a gift from God and valuable in your own way. Appreciate your blessings and rejoice in your successes. You'll be astonished by the realization of your dreams and goals. God grants us everything we pray for abundantly if we adhere to His word and the plan for our lives. No matter who you are or what you've done, there is hope when you have faith.

Adopting healthy, positive choices such as your diet, morals, and beliefs, establishing structure in your routines, redefining your goals, and embracing gratitude and self-love will help you discover your purpose.

In summary, maintaining a healthy diet, engaging in exercise, taking nature walks for grounding, and nurturing a close, personal relationship with God by considering Jesus as your role model, while having faith and persistence, leads to a lifestyle that is both fulfilling and a divine legacy. The desire to succeed begins with a thought, transforms into intention, and develops into purpose. Difficult challenges are blessings in disguise.
